We took a chance and arrived three days early. Claudio, the Director went out of his way to put us up in an outlying cottage for two days and then moved us to the room we had reserved. Wonderful treatment.

The entire staff was the best of our three months in Italy. Claudio, Giuseppina, Simone, Sylvia and the rest of the staff were absolutely the greatest. While CastelBigozzi was high on our list because of our stay their two years ago, our stay there this time was even better. The Bigozzi was definately the best of the sixteen hotels and Inns that we stayed in during our three month trip around Italy.

We cannot recommend Relais CastelBigozzi enough. What a truly magical place with beautiful views from all around. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and were extremely helpful. The accommodations were outstanding.

Beacuse of an accident/traffic outside of Florence, we were not able to get to the property in the specified time. When I called the desk and informed them, they told it was no problem and they would remain until we arrived. Once we got underway again we made it to Castel Bigozzi, were greeted and shown to our apartment. The staff was very helpful.

Location was great, parking and access was easy, and the aprtment was clean and spacious. The staff was eager to provide recommendations for visits and reservations for restaurants. Even though the purpose of my visit was not for business, I still had business to attend to and the staff was able to assist me.

Checkout was uneventful, as it should be, the bill was accurate, and the staff was still ready to assist in any way.

A great place to get away from it all, great view of the countryside, and still close enough to places to visit, eat, and drink great wines.

It would be helpful to have information about local restaurants. We had info from our daughter who had stayed there previously but would not have otherwise found the excellent local places available.

Could have done with a little more electric light in the room itself, and maybe a little more variety at breakfast. Apart from those 2 small things everything was excellent. We will recommend it to our friends.

What a beautiful place. Our only complaint was that we were only staying for a couple nights. We could have stayed there happily for weeks...so relaxing and beautiful.

The receptionist kindly showed our party their rooms and the amenities and ensured we were statisfied with them upon arrival.

It would have been helpful to have had the number of kilometers included with the directions to the property. Specifically, the number of kilometers for the directions off the Autobahn would have been appreciated.

Castle Bigozzi is bellissimo!! The hotel is located in short driving distance (20 minutes) to the beautiful city of Siena and the hotel grounds are amazing. We can't wait to come back to Tuscany and stay at Castel Bigozzi again!

turn - the sign was easy to miss.

Air conditioner in front room did not cool the bedroom. Shower was called 'jacuzzi', although that only meant that there were a number of jets which did not all come on at the same time.

It was a very nice three day stay. Pool was a very nice amenity. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I wish we could have stayed longer! The view from the hilltop of the Tuscan farms and of Monteriggioni were beautiful.

Due to the exchange rate with the US$, it was very expensive for us. Otherwise it was a good value for the experience.

Only complaint about the roomwas we had a small kitchen in it and I would have thought the maid service included washing the few dishes that were there.

Our stay was wonderful. Castelbiggozi is out in the country, quiet, with an extremely friendly staff, good breakfast and great dinner recommendations by staff. The staff knows the area well and since we didn't speak Italian, they called and made reservations for us, checked on opening times, etc.

It was not made clear to us that there would be an addition fee for the use of the kitchen - we assumed that if it was there, it was for our use and part of the room given to us.
