Very straight forward although I would have liked to have received some sort of confirmation email in the week or so prior to my stay just so I could put my mind at rest that everything was ok with my booking.

Very helpful and friendly receptionist and staff. They couldn't do enough to ensure we were settled happily.

The web site was so detailed I felt I knew everything about the hotel before I arrived and this was proved when I arrived. There were no nasty shocks, I got exactly what I wanted and that's why I had chosen this hotel.

Verry nice anf goog hotel, staff was verry nice, there was only on thing that could be better, and that is that de staff does not speak verry good english.

I had ask for a quiet room and when arriving we discovered that we were to be in a room facing a road. We then ask for a change as I had specified that I wanted a calm place and we were transfered to a much better one which was probably more expensive but the it did not affect the final bill.

Very nice swimming pool. All the staff was efficient and nice.
Possibility of using an internet point. The TV channels were not really working and the reception very bad.
In comparison with the grade of the hotel, cooking was middle class and with no Tuscany character, may be with no character at all.

An hotel not at all accustomed to receive French clients as mostly of the alien frequentation is by Germans, but the manager was speaking French.
Color of the rooms is quite sad.
Some rooms are overlooking a frequented road and could be noisy specialy if wanting to keep the window (door) open during the night.

We loved the setting but was a bit disappointed by the amount of landscaping and building work that was being done around the grounds of the hotel. This didn't really affect our stay but just gave an unfinished appearance to the complex. Because it was early season the swimming pool was still being cleaned out so was not available and there was no sign of the tennis courts or a sauna. We enquired about horse-riding but were told that none of the instructors spoke English. In fact only the Manager and one of the Receptionists spoke fluent English which sometimes proved a bit tricky, particularly when ordering food. The menus were in Italian, French and German but not in English!
The Manager was most helpful throughout and assured us that more English people visit the area more in summer.

I think it should be made clearer that some activities and facilities are only available at certain times of the year. Also our experience of the horse-riding facility suggest that there may not always be someone available who can speak English. There should also be some reference to the fact that there may be landcaping work going on, if this is still the case.

A tastefully built hotel in a lovley setting overlooking the Tuscan hills. The staff were always very helpful and though some lacked English-speaking skills, they more than made up for that with their politeness and attentiveness.

It was quite difficult to learn how the keys to the room worked. In the end a cleaner who was around helped us out.

The room we were in was a little noisy. You could hear the road nearby and some other guests were noisy outside their room in the evening. Ofcourse this is not a fault of the hotel.
Also the restaurant was above our room and the scraping of chairs over the floor already started early in the morning.

The hotel was generally okay. The rooms were clean and the breakfast very well. All the comfort you needed was in the room like a good shower and enough electric points. For what we payed it was okay. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The family room we asked for was rather small and in our opinion normally dedicated to 2 persons only (certainly bathroom was too small)

I think it would be a good idea to state the evening activities , as it is rather noisy (music, sports).

Our expectation of the room was very high given the cost of the room and the overall impression from the website.
Food was excellent.
Staff were excellent.
Room was smaller than expected (especially the bathroom).
Mini bar fridge was dirty.
Grounds to the hotel were not finished off and could have been dangerous to small children!

That the grounds and play area are not completely finished.

Nice but expensive.
