 The 4-star hotel Fattoria Belvedere is situated on the top of a hill at Casino di Terra, in the southern part of the Province of Pisa, bordering with the Province of Livorno, in central Tuscany. From the hotel, surrounded by approximately 5 hectares of land, our guests can enjoy a marvellous view over the typical hills of the landscape in Tuscany. It is the ideal place for excursions or combining a holiday of relaxation between the sea and the hills. |
 In fact, from Fattoria Belvedere it is possible to reach the near Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa or the beautiful beaches of the so called Costa degli Etruschi. The most important towns of historical and cultural interest like Lucca, Florence and Siena can be reached within about one hour by car. Hotel Fattoria Belvedere is made up of 3 antique Tuscan farmhouses called Il Mulino, (the mill) the main building entirely made of stone with the reception, the restaurants and some rooms; Il Vecchio Frantoio (the old oil mill), also completely built in stone with rooms only and the building near the swimming pool called Il Granaio (the barn) with fitness room, sauna and rooms. |

Our panoramic pool of 400 sq.m. with the adjacent pool for children (usually open Easter to end-September), offers an enchanting view over the Cecina Valley and the Colline Volterrane (hills around Volterra) and moments of complete relaxation.  Fattoria Belvedere is set within a beautiful context of Tuscan hills, in the southern part of the Province of Pisa, 12 km from the sea and about 20 km from Volterra. As already suggests the name, the hotel is a real farm, where animals of course shouldn't lack. With our horses you can do riding lessons or take part in trips. The northern Val di Cecina offers a quite varied nature with rows of cypresses, olive groves, vineyards, Mediterranean macchia wood, as well as clayey hills. |
 In the vicinity of Fattoria Belvedere there are nature reserves like the Riserva di Berignone, Riserva di Magona and the Riserva di Monterufoli. This uncontaminated and suggestive area with a close net of paths is ideal to discover and enjoy it even more intensively on horseback. During your riding holiday at Fattoria Belvedere you will find a beautiful nature, incomparable well educated horses, delicious dishes, a warm welcome as well as good hospitality. You can bring your horse with you. It will be accommodated in the farm stables or on the grounds. |
 The ideal geographical setting of Fattoria Belvedere, embedded within the soft hills between the Etruscan coast and Volterra, allows infinite possibilities for excursions by bike. This area is used to train national and international bike professionals because mild temperatures allow to train with racing bikes all year. The sportsmen can enjoy roads winding up hills and framed by cypresses. At our hotel our guests can rent mountain- and touring bikes and discover alone or together with our guides unknown places. Maps or guides are available at our reception, where our staff is always ready to give you some useful advice about what to do. At the guest's disposal a storage where one can leave the bikes to be protected as well as a hotel workshop for small repairs. |
