What a great experience and I look forward to going back. Having the kitchen to make dinner and share experiences with the other guests was wonderful and I highly recommend it! The property was great, I just wish we had stayed longer. ... We had to check out early, and that was a little tricky. It all worked out fine in the end. ... The proprieters are wonderful. They really are helpful and personable and we so appreciate all they did for us while we were there. They went above and beyond when we forgot an item and had it overnighted to us in our next city so we did not have to pay overseas shipping. I cannot say enough kind things about them.

Our arrival in Poggibonsi (the train stop that is supposedly closest to our Bed and Breakfast) was not a good experience. We were supposed to get a taxi and we were told it would be around 10-15 euros. There were no taxis available until I finally called our hotel and Alberta called for one. The cost was extremely expensive (30 euros one way)! The travel distance from the station to Le Querciole was much much farther than we had been told and there was no way for us to really get to a store for food being out in the hills. We were lead to believe that would not be a problem. We ended up not having dinner the night we stayed. ... The stay was wonderful, despite not being able to find a place for food for dinner. The views were beautiful and the rooms were furnished and very clean. The pool was enjoyable and clean as well and we were able to truly relax on our stay. Breakfast was prepared and ready when we woke up and it was a pretty good variety! Overall, the actual stay was very nice. Just bring food with you or better yet, have a car to drive yourself! ... Check out was quick and easy. ... Actual distance from anywhere...including grocery stores, etc... ... truly a get away

I was lucky to find the B&B because I had a GPS to guide me. Another couple from Canada took over 5 hours to find the place. I left the GPS lat/long coordinates of the B&B with the manager to post on the web site. It would be very helpful for others to have this information. Otherwise we loved our stay. ... I thought the web site said that Internet was available. It was not. Also, there was not a direct phone for friends from home to call me. However the manager allowed calls to come in on her cell phone. ... I raved about it to all my friends. I hope to be able to stay there again.

We spend an hour looking for the right turn at the round about after the Poggiponsi nord exit. All other guests seem to have the same problem - the instructions were not accurate at that point. ... We were travelling with a small child, and would have hoped that 'child friendly' in the net pages would also mean that the room and the environnement is safe for a child. To our dissapointment this wasn't so: the terraces had ballustrades with large enough gaps for a grown up to go through, let alone a one-year-old. For us parents this ment that most of the vacations we spent in-watch. Otherwise the place was wonderfull! ... Lovely staff, very helpfull and friendly. Familiar athmosphere. Modest rooms, but everything needed included.
