• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In from 4pm until 9pm, Check Out before 11am. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  The price is per room for 2 people and, if present, a child from 0 till 4 years old sleeping in the same bed.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  Yes, breakfast is included.
• Is heating included in the price?
  Yes, heating is included.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  Yes, guests may settle the bill on arrival or at check-out. Possibly in cash.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  Languages spoken: Italian, English, a little French and Spanish.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  Rooms are located on the ground floor and first floor. There is no lift. From ground to first floor there are 12 steps. Guests with disabilities or with difficulty in walking, may ask to book one of the rooms on the ground floor, and as breakfast is served on the first floor in the kitchen, we may arrange for breakfast to be brought in their room.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  All the rooms are very quiet, being surronded by the countryside. All the rooms have private access and we have done our best to make the rooms as confortable and cosy as possible.
• Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
  All linens and towels are provided at no extra charge, and during the swimming pool season, we do provide towels for this as well.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  One of the rooms at ground floor and the dependance have a small private terrace; all other rooms may use the courtyard, wide garden and the sun lounge.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  Being a 17° century Tuscan country house, the construction requirements at the time allowed only windows.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  On request we can book non smoking rooms.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  No TV is not not present within the rooms.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  There is no telephone in the rooms, however, it is possible to use your own mobile, or in emergency the owners'one.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  Although outside temperatures are hot, within the house, having very thick walls and energy saving windows, the temperature is cool. However, should guests wish, we provide floor fans.
• Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
  Yes, there is a big kitchen that guests may use, and in the summer there is a nice terrace overlooking the swimming pool, with the BBQ on the side, to organise dinners and eat together. At times, owners may organise wine tastings with appetizers or even dinners, all using typical and genuine products.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  We do have a laptop with mobile access. On request we can provide it to guests at an extra cost.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  Yes, there is a nice 12m by 6m open swimming pool. The opening season is from June till end of September.
• Is parking or garage available?
  Yes, we have a parking slot that can hous about 10 cars.
• Where can we rent a car?
  It is possible to rent a car in Florence and Poggibonsi. There is also car hire company not far that brings car to the property. Prices on request.
• Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
  Yes, in San Donato in Poggio, 5 minutes away there is a supermarket, a grocery store bar open all year round.
• Are there vineyards nearby?
  The area is full of vineyards and wine and oil producers.
• How far is Florence, Siena, Pisa from the Property?
  Florence is 30 km away; Siena is 20 km away and Pisa is 90 km away.
  
• Which is the nearest village or town?
  The nearest is San Donato in Poggio and Poggibonsi.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  The nearest airport is Florence Pertola at 35km away, otherwise Pisa Galileo Galilei at 90km away.
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  If you arrive in Florence, please get the shuttle bus to Santa Maria Novella train station, if you arrive in Pisa get the train or the Terravision bus to Florence. From Florence train station catch the train to Poggibonsi. From this point we can either come and pick you up or there are taxis.
• Which is the nearest bus-stop?
  Poggibonsi or San Donato bus stops.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Poggibonsi is the nearest railway station.
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  Within the property there is no fitness centre.
• Are pets welcome?
  Yes, pets are allowed if well behaved.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  No, there is no restaurant within the property.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  Yes, you can, although please bear in mind that you can do that via mobile connection and the connection is GPS, hence not as fast as in the big cities.
