 The beautiful Villa I Barronci is strategically situated in the heart of the Florentine Chianti area, in the countryside on the highest hill near the village of San Casciano on the side which dominates the Val di Pesa valley. Nevertheless the property is only 2 km far from San Casciano centre and only 15/20 minutes by car from Florence, whilst Siena is only a 30 minutes car ride away. |
 "The ancient name 'I Barronci' derives from the name of the first owners, the Barronci family, in the 12th century. During the 15th century the estate became the property of the Gianfigliazzi family, then in 1771 was acquired by the Pierozzi family who transformed the original country house into the villa as it is seen today" (G.Carocci - 1892). |
 The present day owners live at Villa i Barronci immersed in a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere and all around a unique and unforgettable panorama. In the village of San Casciano guests will find banks, chemists, shops and typical trattorie and restaurants. |
