• At what time can we check-in and out?
  Check-in: Saturday between 17.00 to 19.00 pm.
  Check-out: Saturday within 10.00 am.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  Weekly price for entire Villa.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  You can order extra many services.
• Is heating included in the price?
  No.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  No.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  English.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  The Villa and Rick's House have two floors. The Garden House and the Guest House have only the ground floor.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  Yes. All the rooms are very quiet, elegant and romantic.
• Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
  Linens and towels are provided by us. They are changed once a week.
  For Villa Podere Barberino there is maid service 3 times a week.
  For Rick's House - Garden House - Guest House cleaning are made at the end of the stay.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  There are a lot of big panoramic windows on first floor and terrace (on ground floor), garden, private patio in ground floor and garden (in the Villa and Guest House). Private garden in Garden House. Rick's House has no terrace or garden but outside there are all gardens.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  Only that on the ground floor in the main Villa, Garden House and Guest House.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  Yes.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  Only in the Villa and Rick' House, no in the Garden House and Guest House.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  The swimming pool is very beautiful and designed by the owner of the farm and landscape architect, Flavia.
  
  Swimming Pool use:
  a. Only for the guests of the Villa and the owners who occasionally use their cottage (the Guest House).
  b. Guests in Garden House and Guest House may occasionally have use of the pool but ONLY on request.
  c. Guests in Rick's House can swim in the nearby farm pool with a ticket. (there is no pool at Rick's House)
• Is parking or garage available?
  Villa : there is space for cars.
  Rick's House is 50 metres from parking.
• Where can we rent a car?
  In downtown Florence or at Pisa/Florence/Rome/Milan airport. There is the possibility of a car with a driver for short distances.
• Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
  Yes. The grocery store is 200mt far(20 metres from Rick's House).
• Are there vineyards nearby?
  Yes.
• How far is Florence, Siena, Pisa from the Property?
  Florence about 28 km, Siena about 30 km and Pisa about 70 km. San Gimignano is about at 15 km.
• Which is the nearest village or town?
  The medieval village of Barberino Val 'Elsa , 200 mt. (restaurants, bars, markets, shops, bank, post office, bus stop, church......). Rick's House is in the medioeval town heart, pedestrian area.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  Florence airport.
• Which is the nearest bus-stop?
  There is a bus stop at 20 mt.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Poggibonsi 5 Km or Florence 28 km.
• Are pets welcome?
  No.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  Only in the main Villa.
