 The Locanda Barbarossa offers it's visitors comfortable rooms in which to spend their quiet evenings. Moreover, it has a traditional restaurant, savouring the well-known cultural delicacies of Tuscany, our dishes are based mainly on traditional tuscan cooking and they depend from season to season and from the availability of fresh products. You will be able to enjoy genuine dishes of Tuscany in relaxing and comfortable dining rooms or outside in the large garden. |
 In addition, the "Locanda Barbarossa" offers it's guests a pool to take refreshing swim on hot summer days. Within walking distance of the lodging house, one can enjoy a horse - riding, tennis, soccer, or simply stroll along the scenic paths of the green Tuscany hill.
Helisurface (helicopter runway): It is available for our guests in the case that a guest decides to use it even to be accompanied by HELITAXI to the airport. The coordinates of the platform for landing of the helicopter during the day time: NORTH 43, 39, 48 EAST 11, 10, 01. |
 Swimming pool with salt water: the pool at "Locanda Barbarossa" (6m x 13m) is 1.40 m deep. It's not supervised.

Tennis: the nearest tennis club is in San Casciano (3 km).
Trekking paths: please, ask the Hotel Manager about trekking itineraries.
Horse reading: it is possible to go horse riding at the riding centre situated in San Casciano (2 km).
Soccer ground: at 3 km.
Golf Club Ugolino (18 holes): 18 km. far from Locanda Barbarossa.
Banks: there are several banks located in San Casciano. The Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze and Monte dei Paschi di Siena both have foreign exchange facilities and internationally linked cash machines (Bancomat). Opening times are generally 08.30-13.30 and 14.45-15.45 weekdays and 08.30-11.30 on Saturday (althought Monte dei Paschi is closed in the afternoon).
Post Office: this is situated in San Casciano. Opening times are usually between 8.30-13.30 Monday to Saturday except the last Saturday of the month when it closes at 11.00.
Food Shops: there are several situated in San Casciano. For more general food shopping there is a COOP supermarket just off Piazza del Popolo on Via Gramsci, open 7.30-13.00 and 16.30-19.30 Monday to Saturday, closed Wednesday afternoon.
Chemist: the nearest chemist is in San Casciano and is open 09.00-13.00 and 16.00-20.00.
Petrol:In Montespertoli and San Casciano you can find garages which operate 24 hours service where during normal opening hours someone will serve you, but out of normal hours you can use a self service facility.
Buses: buses are available from San Casciano and Cerbaia (4 km far from Locanda Barbarossa). Please remember to buy your ticket beforehand and validate the ticket on the bus.
