In the heart of Tuscany, 15 kms from Arezzo and at an altitude of 500 mts you will find Badicroce: It is a "Villa" obtained from a Benedictine Monastery of the 12th century very well restored, situated in the middle of a vast forest including a game-preserve with abundant native game such as muflons, fallow deer and wild boar. A very small village embraces The Monastery, the Church and the houses originally used by servants and nuns. The Church dating back to the 11th century, is one of the five examples of Benedictine architecture with a three–mullioned window apse and a crypt. |
