It consists of thirteen apartments arranged between a villa with a stoned wine cellar and an ancient sixteenth - century mill where our guests can live and breath a warm and refined atmosphere.

The History: Villa Cassia di Baccano offers it's guests centuries of history. Just halfway through the XVII th century, Piero Capponi became Marquis of Loro Ciuffenna's lands, remaining so until the abolition of feudal rights in Tuscany. Therefore, the Capponi Family's coat of arms can be found at the enterance of Villa Cassia di Baccano. Villa Cassia di Baccano offers guests a rich historical and cultural background enveloped by family traditions.

In 246 b.c. when the Roman Empire conquered Etruria, the ancient "Via dei Sette ponti" became the main road of Cassia Vetus, which is a name that the tradition ascribes to the Roman Censor Lucio Cassio Ravilla, who marked the route from Arezzo to Florence. This land's history begins with the etruschi, passes through the roman era and the granducal investiture of Piero Capponi's Family in 1646 and continues today, when prominantly the Villa and it's ancient sixteenth-century mill have been brought to life again.
