 Click to view the map | The Marzalla Agriturismo farm is located in the "Valdinievole" area, famous since Roman times for its fertile soil and its especially suitable climate. Our farm offers its guests a holiday surrounded by old traditions which allows you to enter into the peaceful and relaxing pace of life that is a feature of the countryside. You can forget the frenetic pace of modern life while still in easy reach, by car or train, of the beautiful and characteristic cities of Tuscany. The train station is only 800 metres away. You can visit, for example, the city of Lucca only 18 Km away, where you can cycle along the ancients city walls, Pisa, with its unforgettable leaning tower and Piazza dei Miracoli 25Km, Pistoia 20 Km, Florence, the cradle of world art, 60 Km. For mountain and hiking enthusiasts we can offer the Alpi Apuane Mountains with their marble caves, the Garfagnana (25 Km) with its famous "Grotta del Vento", Mount Abetone in the Tuscan Apennines, with its botanic gardens. For those who love the sea, we can suggest the exclusive Forte dei Marmi in the heart of Versilia, and only an hour car journey away are the famous "Cinque terre" which you can visit on horseback, by carriage or by bike. Finally, bird-watching enthusiasts can visit Padule di Fucecchio, aboard traditional boats, where it is still possible to admire rare species of both birds of fish. Let us also not forget, for admirers of garden architecture, a visit to the gardens of the three "Ville Lucchesi" (Villa Reale, Villa Mansi, Villa Torrigiani). An obligatory stop for all Opera lovers is the "Torre del Lago" on Lake Massaciuccoli (25 Km) where you can listen to live performances of "Boheme" and "Madam Butterfly" held in an evocative open-air setting near the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini. As regards children, they mustn't miss a trip to Collodi and Pinocchio's village, which you can reach from the farm by following an ancient Roman road.
