The restaurant in the hotel Athena is well worth mentioning. Reserved solely for our client's use it seats up to 80 people. The chef offers a knowledgable menù consisting of the best recipes of the typical local cuisine. It is also possible to try international dishes.

Meeting:
The hotel Athena also has a room specially equipped for meetings and conventions, which can accomodate up to 80 people. Fumished with confortable armchairs, a wide screen, projector and all other necessary equipment.

Terrace:
Next to the inside bar of the Hotel Athena there is a large terrace with wonderful views where guest can take advantage of the bar service whilst enjoying the countryside around and below them characterised by the ancient city walls of Siena and its backdrop of soft green hills. In the heart of tuscany, Siena offers a relaxing holiday in a city of dreams. Il Palio delle Contrade, the ancient and most famous historical event of the world, takes place twice during the year, on 2nd July and 14th August, in the magnificent Piazza del Campo. 10 of the 17 Contrade take part at the traditional bare-back horse race around the packed piazza del campo after an hard selection thyat begin almost 20 days before each Palio. This exceptional horse race, where jockeys ride horses without saddles, begins with the historical parade in 15th century costumes of about 700 figures that crossing all the city, reach at last Piazza del campo, where the Contrade will ride to win the palio, the painted silk flag.
