Our hosts were so gracious and welcoming. we felt like we were 'at home' ... Our only constructive thought, is that the room was very dark. It was very difficult to put on makeup in the bathroom because the lighting was poor. BUT, our hosts were so accomodating. All of the information for travel, dining, wineries, were the best of our whole trip! His advice was a 'trip maker' for all of us! ... Easy! ... Very unique.

It was wonderful (once we finally found it!!). Two goofy dogs came to greet us, followed by Enrico----what a charming fellow! His mother, Anna, was there, so we got the grand artistic tour. ... We loved the hospitality. ... The inn is situated in a peaceful, tucked away place, with beautiful views of the countryside. We loved the attached little church and cemetary, still visited by the townspeople in the mornings. Local olive oil andwine are available.
Make sure to give accurated directions....we lost two hours trying to find it. ... An interesting blend of old and new. The old house is creatively maintained and renovated, with Anna's colorful artworks. Enrico and his family are extremely gracious and have done a wonderful job creating this getaway.

Warm and friendly greeting by the family. ... Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were a little on the small side for the price. Owners were very nice and helpful. Breakfast could be a litle more substantial considering the price charged for the rooms.

The signs posted within the town were very helpful in finding the hotel. ... We didn't feel the room was worth the rate we paid but we did enjoy the stay. We did enjoy staying in the old building and were aware that it was not airconditioned. However, a fan of any kind would have made sleeping much more comfortable. ... It was very unique with the modern art and the interesting history of the building. I don't know if we noted this on the website. ... Charming and unique in a beautiful setting. The staff was very helpful and gracious. And the location was central to other points of interest in the area.

The directions were terrible. We never would have found the place if it were not for road signs.
The place was charming, and the staff very helpful. ... The bathrooms could be improved. There was not enough light in the rooms. ... Charming.

We originally booked a junior suite but when we arrived, it was too small so we upgraded to one of the bigger suites which was fine. ... Although the property was as shown on the website, the junior suite room we originally booked was very much smaller than we had expected. We expected a separate area as well as the bedroom area but the room we were allocated was all in one. The bathroom was very small as well. The larger suites were better and were more suitable for a 2 week stay. My only concern was with the bathrooms which did not live up to the standard of the rooms themselves. In particular, the showers were tiny and there were no shelves for toiletries etc. The bathroom of the suite we had for the 2nd week was better as it was fully tiled and had some space to place toiletries. ... In retrospect, we would not stay in a hotel like Residenzia d'Arte again as it did not have enough facilities for us (ie, no food other than breakfast, no bar, no pool). However, I would still recommend it to anyone who simply wants beautiful scenary and unusual rooms, plus a wonderful family who made every effort on our behalf. They deserve 10/10. ... Positive: We feel that the family made the holiday. Biagio and his family were hospitable, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and beyond. They also speak several languages between them which is useful to know. Negative: The swimming pool mentioned on the web site is at another hotel about 20 minutes drive away. It was extremely busy when we were there and it was impossible to get a sun bed. ... Beautiful location and very interesting art, but basic bed & breakfast facilities. Wonderful family.
