| In Impruneta there are many restaurants where you can eat a good typical tuscany food,and Impruneta is located among the green Florentine hills between the city of Florence and the small town Greve in Chianti, famous all over the world for the production of terracotta and the local extra virgin olive oil and wine. But there are other interesting aspects of Impruneta and its surroundings. There are festivals and other cultural events held during the year which makes it worth to come here from Florence. At only 10 minutes from Armonie del Chianti you find the Golf Course Golf Ugolino.It is the oldest golf course in Tuscany and among the oldest in Italy. The natural golf course opened in 1934 on the hills of the Chianti and underscores the natural characteristics of the Tuscan landscape such as the cypresses, the olive trees and the slopes which follow the magnificent scenario of the small and neat greens. The golf course was designed by the English architects Blandford and Gannon and hosted the Open Internazionale d'Italia in 1993, which Bernard Langer won in a play-off against Seve Ballesteros.
