There was a transit strike during our stay so Fabio was gracious enough to drive us directly to the train station in Poggibonsi and would have taken us to Firenze if neccessary.

Fabio was a wonderful host and happily drove us around Tuscany to make sure we saw things that most tourists miss. The apartment is quite comfortable and very centrally located in San Gimignano and the town was more than we could hope for... most welcoming and enjoyable.

We telephoned Fabio on arrival and he came to meet us immediately. He gave a great introduction to the area, maps, touring tips and a welcoming bottle of wine. We felt like he really valued us coming to stay!

The apartment was ideal and in a great central location

As we were leaving very early in the morning, Fabio came to see us the night before and offered to take our luggage etc to the car. It was like leaving a friend behind when we left!

Apartment Fabio is Fab! The welcome was great and the apartment ideal - right in the centre of town. Fabio was an excellent host who made us feel at home and we hope to go back again in the future.

In terms of finding the apartment once inside the walls, a little more detail would be good and perhaps a larger sign on the door, it is very easy to miss

We had a lovely stay at Appartmenti Fabio. Fabio was most helpful and welcoming and with the help of his daughter language was not a problem. The location is fantastic, we would highly recommend Appartmenti Fabio

Whilst it was not a problem for us it should be clear on the website that the appartments are up 3 flights of stairs, no lift.

San Gimignano is a perfect place to explore Tuscany from. The appartment is just around the corner from the town square and many good restaurants are within 3 minutes walk.

San Gimignano is definitely my favourite town in Tuscany! It really looks as medieval Manhattan. Appartamenti Fabio deserve my best recommendation :)

San Gimignano is difficult to access by car. The host met us outside town, guided us to a free parking spot (only known to locals) and then took our bags to the apartment. The latter was important as the car parking is a long way down the hill from the parking in that town and the local bus stops quite early in the evening.

some people may find the distance from the carpark a problem as the climb up the stairways and paths to the town centre is quite steep. There is a local bus and this information could be included in the website along with its times of operation.
the host Fabio, gave us a wonderful welcome, including a bottle of wine, lots of information on the surrounding towns and was very charming indeed. We had no need of further help but I have no doubt if we did that Fabio would have responded immediately.

Comfortable, pleasant and tasteful - well worth more visits. Although small the town has much to offer in way of exploration and a week is easily passed there. I will be recommemding this to our friends as not only an excellent apartment, but also as fantastic value.

The apartment is on the Duomo Piazza - right in the middle of everything. Noisy at times, but that is to be expected because of the location.
