By car coming from Florence:
exit the A1 motorway at Firenze Certosa and turn right for the freeway to Siena. Exit at San Donato and follow the directions for Tavarnelle and then Barberino. Having crossed Barberino, as soon as the road starts going downhill, turn right for Pastine, Poneta. After 2 km, roundabout with pine in the middle, turn left and you are on the road to Poneta. Drive on for approximately 2 km; when going downhill you will at times see our estate from above. At a certain point you will find, on your left, a big wrought iron gate sided by two stone pillars topped by terracotta vases.
By plane:
The nearest airports are Pisa or Florence.
- From Florence, you can decide to rent a car and follow the above directions. If you prefer, you can take the local bus to Santa Maria Novella station and then the train to Barberino. From there take a taxi to the property.
- Coming from Pisa, you can rent a car or take the train, leaving inside the airport, to Santa Maria Novella station in Florence: from there as above.
By train:
The nearest station is Barberino. From there, you ca reach the farmhouse with a short taxi ride. |
