| | |  We are an organic farmhouse: so, what you will find here?
A simple and genuine environment, warmness and responsibility for let you have as more relaxing and interesting holidays as possible. We are situated in the very heart of the Chianti area, between the beautiful city of Siena and the famous medieval fortress of Monteriggioni, nestled in one of the world's most fascinating country sides. Like an oasis in the Chianti hills, our strategic position allows you to easily reach such important Tuscan artistic centres as Siena, reachable in 10 minutes, Monteriggioni, Castellina in Chianti, Colle val d'Elsa only 15 minutes far from here, San Gimignano, Volterra, Asciano, San Galgano, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino that are half hour far such as Firenze and Arezzo are one hour far_ all suitable on one day tour! We will pleased to give you all the useful information about this places, or we will contact professional guides that will accompany you into specific tours where you'll have also the time for shopping.
We strongly advise, both in summer and in winter, a visit to the Spa in the little village Rapolano Terme: the large hot and cold pools, the Turkish bath, the Jacuzzis and various treatments really can't be missed by anyone who wants to relax and tone up in these long-established hot springs that offer so much well-being - and all only half an hour's drive away. |
 If you prefer a more "naturalistic" holidays you could, beside your relaxing in our panoramic pool and in the garden filled of herbs, fruits, and more than 150 different varieties of roses (which are the pride and joy of the owner, Daniela _ if you're a rose lover, or even if you're just curious, don't hesitate to ask questions or to exchange opinions with her, she'll be more than happy!), start from here and walk all around our vineyards. If you are sportive we can organize trekking tours or you can rent a mountain bike, on your own or with a guide who can take you on just the right outings for your own taste and stamina. In the nearby range of the Montagnola Senese, about thirty square kilometres of still uncontaminated woods, we can take you for hikes that will satisfy everyone's demands, cool even in the summer. And why not round everything off with a lovely picnic right on the spot!
In the nearby village of Quercegrossa you can play tennis or soccer. Just a few kilometres away, in the beautiful area of Lecceto, there's a riding stable that has been our partner for years in organizing marvellous horseback rides lasting from a few hours to the whole day. In the town of Colle val d'Elsa (about 20 kilometres) you'll find a small golf course.

Our Farmhouse is not so big, so you'll find always a lot of peacefulness and our total attention for all your necessity. Our reception is open in the morning and in the evening too for helping all our guests in organizing each single day of their stay. Sometimes we organize some activities such as how cook hand-made bread and pasta, or prepare jam_ about two times a week we arrange special dinners for let you taste our typical organic products and for enjoy all together! All the other nights will be the chirping of the crickets that will cheer up your stay. |
 In our Farmhouse the Taddei family has been using only organic methods for its production of wine, olive oil, honey and grains for the past ten years. Of course, all of our agricultural products as well as our local specialties - such as truffles and mushrooms - can be bought on the spot.
For the ones who wants to try an original experience, weather permitting , we can organize hot-air balloon flights that take off right from our Farmhouse and fly you over the splendid valleys of the Chianti or, accompanied by a guide, you can try a exciting day of truffle-hunting in the woods around here!
You can finally complete your stay with some of a lot of different kinds of well being treatments: peeling, body massages, body mud-bath, full facial treatment, manicures, makeup... Our programs are thought out with those of you in mind who wish to combine the well-being our romantic medieval towns and green hillsides work out on your soul with a synergy of bodily pleasure and care_ It's possible to create personalized programs, whether for just one day or for a whole wonderful week, according to your own tastes and requirements. |
