All is set in a wide green park where our guests will find a big panoramic swimming pool equipped with a large solarium area with sunbeds and beach umbrellas, antique wood oven to bake bread or pizzas, barbecues and a parking lot. |
Here you will find a place where you can enjoy each passing hour, where there are no frenetic holiday activities but just a few ideas for making your stay even more pleasurable, such as horse riding, mountain biking or simply relaxing under the fabulous italian sun. |
Our estate is also a farmhouse where an excellent red wine is produced, the Chianti wine "Podere dell'Anselmo" has in fact a really long-aged tradition as the Forconi family has worked its vineyard generation after generation since the early 19th century. It is more recently that we have begun to sell wines under our own estate label. |
Podere dell'Anselmo awaits its guests for suppers and the tasting of our products including our high quality Chianti wine, our grappa distilled from just racked, still fresh pomaces, our extra virgin olive oil extracted in a traditional mill without hot temperature treatment, and last but not least our Vin Santo and honey. We'll be happy to show you our wine cellars and to take you around our stables where we breed the majestic "Murgese" horse race which dates from medieval times. |
