 Swimming Pool: the swimming pool can be used at any time and in the evening only when the lights are on. As there is no guardian we ask you to be very careful of yourselves and your children who must be accompanied. The water is 1,40m deep therefore diving is not allowed.
Our Courses: During your holiday in Podere dell'Anselmo you could attend a cooking course with our chef, a riding stage in our riding center, and two time per year a relaxing meeting for stressed manager with KiContact hold from Natalie Romer.
Weddings: Our staff will lend you a hand in case you decide to celebrate a wedding here both for legal aspect, music entertainment, transfers, photographers and of course for a fabulous reception... |
 Restaurant: the restaurant is open only on selected evenings with a fixed menu, usually monday evening and those evenings when there at least 8/10 people. A typical tuscan meal will be served accompanied by wines produced on Podere dell'Anselmo. Reservations can be made either by telephone before 12:00 on the monday or by directly contacting the reservations department. Upon arrival guests may consult the menu for monday evening near the swimming pool. During the week there will be organised evenings (for example the "oven baked pizza evening") to be decided and the menu will also be on the board near the swimming pool. It is also possible to use the barbeque and antique pizza oven on request and it must be booked.
Breakfast Room: breakfast is on request between 8:30 and 10:00 am in the common room (for special time requests or breakfast served in your room you must ask for additional charges and availability).
Meetings Facilities: Podere dell'Anselmo on request rent its restaurant and its caves for meetings, workshops and incentives up to 30-50 persons with half or full-board service. |
 Wine Tasting: our farm is renowned for its wine production: many luxury hotels and top class restaurants visit us to take part in the guided wine tasting sessions. It is therefore possible to book on request or ask the reservation department when they will take place (usually Wednesday afternoon). Prices vary according to the requests, we have the complete wine tasting session or, only for those who are guests of Podere dell'Anselmo introductory wine tasting.
Our Products: it is possible to buy from the farm pur own grown and produced products. In order to avoid a long wait we have decided to put a few of the products together with those basic necessities in the porch where guests can take what they need and write down what they have taken and they will then be paid for on departure. Please do not hesitate to ask to taste the products during the week.
Guided Excursions: it is possible to book on request visits to the florentine museums and in particular the "Uffizi" gallery so as to avoid long waits at the ticket office. You can also receive information and suggestions on excursions in Tuscany and itineraries for museums in Florence, information on theatres, cinemas and shows of the week as well as suggestions and reservations for restaurants in Tuscany and Florence. |
 Horse Riding: it is possible to visit the horse farm any time during the day but it is prohibited to feed the animals or enter the fenced areas. During the week a simple explanatory and demonstration session on the characteristics of the old and rare Murgese breed of horses that we breed can be organised on request. It is possible to organise trips on horse back that must be booked upon arrival.
Mountain Bike: it is possible to hire bikes from the reservation desk for one or more days. Please inform as soon as possible as availability is limited.
Laundry Service: it is possible to use the laundry 24 hours a day. You can freely use the hand wash basin or the washing machine. Here you will find the iron and the ironing board as well as all that is necessary for cleaning (washing powders are not included) and also the clothes hanger which has not to be taken outside for obvious aesthetical purposes.

it is possible to ask for transfers by car with driver to the following:
1. Florence (railway station or Vespucci airport
2. Pisa airport
3. Bologna airport
It is also possible to book private excursions by car with driver (in english) to the following destinations (with guide on request):
1. entire day in Siena - San Gimignano
2. half a day at San Gimignano
3. half a day at Pisa |
