By Plane
The airports closer to Ambassador di Lucca are the ones at Pisa (45 kilometres) and Florence (56 kilometres), which welcome flights from the rest of Italy and other cities in Europe. Otherwise, if you arrive in Rome and cannot get a connection to these terminals, the journey is only 3 hours and a half long up to the hotel.
By Car
If you arrive at Galileo Galilei airport in Pisa, continue along Via Caduti di Kindo, and once at Pisa, take Via Asmara before turning left in Via San Giusto. After exiting the city of Pisa, keep on Via delle Colombaie and take your left at Via Mezzanina. Turn right into the SS1 motorway and then the A12/E80, in direction "Firenze". Next, go on along the A11/E76 highway and exit at Capannori. As you come to Carraia, you must take your right at the signs for "E74/ A15/ Pisa/ Capannori/ Lucca/ Porcari". Continue along SS439, Sp27, pass the village of Santa Margherita and take road SP23. After Capannori, at the roundabout go along SP61 and you will reach Porcari. You must take Via Puccini, turn right in Via Asciutti and left in Via Romana Est: you will com to the property on number 92. (This journey will take around 35 minutes).
By Train
From Pisa central station, you will only have 20 or 25 minutes to reach Lucca, as the railway station is only 40 metres from the airport, linked to it by a train service. Meanwhile, at the airport in Florence you can get on the buses to Santa Maria Nouvella central station. Once there, get on a train to Lucca (a journey that takes between 1 hour 20 minutes and 1 hour 40 minutes).
The station in Lucca is placed 10 kilometres far from the inn. You can get on a taxi or otherwise, get a connection to Porcari. This station is the one placed closest to the inn (1,5 kms). From Porcari you can take a bus and descend only 500 metres from the property. |
