Description of the distance from the train station was not accurate, it is more than 300 metres.

Extremely good accommodation for anyone wanting to spend any time in Lucca, Comfortable and well maintained. The owners are enthusiatic and extremely helpful and made our stay even better.
We would definately return.

The access is a little obscure and would be difficult with a large car/ MPV.
The property should be approached via the Viale Castruccio Castracani then first turning on right into Via di Tiglio turning righ into Ai Cipressi directly opposite Via Romana - Ai Cipressi is the right again thro a very tight archway.

Excellent location, rooms and breakfast with free parking in Lucca - what more can be said. Only drawback is there is no lift and not many ground floor rooms, but stairs are relatively easy for the ambulant disabled.

Although we arrived at the time the office was to be closed for lunch, we found we were received with a warm friendly greeting and checked into our room. Gabriele was quite willing to postpone his lunch to answer any and all questions we had concerning the accommodations and the sites of Lucca.

Our accommodations exceeded our expectations and we were very satisfied with the level of service we received. We would definately stay there again.

This B&B experience was one of the best we have had in many trips to europe. The owner and his son, Gabriella, really enjoy being in the hotel business and providing everything possible for their guests enjoyment. The location is perfect for Lucca. It is clean, quiet and lovingly run.
We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit this wonderful city.

The Owner needs a better sign on the main road at the intersection where you turn left or right into the property. This intersection consists of a four way stop and is frequently backed up in all directions. When we were waiting in line to move through the intersection, we were looking to our left for the property (big yellow building) but the sign is hidden from view when you are number two in line and when you move to number one your attention better be on getting through the intersection. Once through, you have missed it. We eventually approached the intersection from a different direction and saw the hotel sign on the small side street which was straight ahead of us. Not a big deal but could be helpful to others.

Tea/coffee making facilities either in rooms or outside would add greatly to the
quality of the stay.

Room was larger than expected. Beds were comfortable. Free wireless Internet access was a very pleasant bonus.

Pleasantly spacious and well kept room. The B&B is more of a cross between a motel and a private apartment. The two brothers who run the place were very friendly and helpful with sightseeing and touring suggestions. Their office was well stocked with brochures of the local attractions. Although the outside street is quite busy during weekdays, the room was very quiet thanks to the private courtyard. The complimentary wireless Internet access was a very nice bonus - we had stayed (on the same trip) at some international brand hotels which wanted to charge up to EUR20 day just for this service!

Very nice place, just outside the city centre, with free parking and clean and modern rooms. I would go there again if I was in the neighbourhood.

The B & B is set back from the road and is not that well signposted. Another couple we spoke to who had hired a car took 2 hours to find it. As we were on foot it was easier to find.

The accommodation was clean but quite basic and more like a motel than a hotel. It is ideal for short break but would not be suitable for a longer holiday. The reception is not always manned although the staff can be contacted by phone. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave local knowledge. They also provided a free service to and from the train station which was a bonus.

It is a limited parking area, 2 cars close to the hotel. Breakfast was without bread, only cakes and cereals, wiich is strange for me ( norwegians ), but it was never emtty of anything else.
