 The farmhouses were originally built at the beginning of the 19th century, but were conditioned to receive families craving for a stay surrounded by the hills of the Garfagnana area, a unique setting in Tuscany full of mountain peaks and medieval fortresses lost in the hills. |
 Either inside the "Casa Chioi" or the "Il Loggiato", you will find all the kitchen equipment you need to cook at all times, and groceries can be bought at the small traditional market in Filecchio, the nearest village to the houses. It is at 1 kilometre distance, therefore you will be able to take a peaceful stroll towards there, or use the mountain bikes disposed for the guests. |
 There is no better way to know the lifestyle at the Tuscany countryside: outdoor activities for children and adults can be practised in the nearby area, from fishing to tennis and the local "Tiro alla Forma", which consists in throwing a Parmigiano cheese down the hills. |
